In 90 Seconds the Opening of the Tomb of Christ

Sixty hours. This is how long the tomb of Jesus, kept in the Edicule of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, remained open from October 26th to 28th, for the third time in history.


These are the images with the marble slab of the altar temporarily removed, from which a second cracked plate emerged and thus the original rock below.

Final Stage of the Renovation of the Holy Sepulcher

After nine months of meticulous work, the restoration of the Holy Sepulcher has reached its final stages. The scaffoldings that were mounted around the edicule, have already been removed.
